Private curling

Winter sports at Zollverein

For sociable competitions between families or private groups, a weatherproof area with up to four lanes for a maximum of twelve people each is available for curling. We will provide you with the necessary equipment and a brief introduction to the simple rules of the game.

Our services at a glance

• Provision of a rink incl. ice sticks, stave, folding rule, score sheet and spikes for your shoes
• Duration: 90 minutes
• short briefing by experienced guides
• takes place in all weathers
• Illumination of the activity area in the dark 

The ticket includes a visit to the curling rink on the booked day within the booked times. Would you like to hire two or more rinks? Select the lanes at your desired time. You can see how many lanes (places) are still available in the calendar overview.

The price quoted is valid for lane and timeslot. We recommend curling from the age of six.

Please note

Please remember to bring weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes as well as a printed or digital copy of your booking confirmation.

The meeting point is 15 minutes before the start of the game at the curling rink next to the Zollverein ice rink at the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site coking plant.
