Day ticket for the Zollverein ice rink

Unique winter fun in a spectacular industrial setting
During the winter season, the Zollverein ice rink stretches 150 metres along the imposing coke ovens and chimneys of the coking plant. In the evening, an installation bathes it in atmospheric light and cosy stands in the winter village offer refreshments with hot drinks and snacks.

The day ticket includes a one-off visit to the Zollverein ice rink on the day booked during opening hours (excluding the ice disco). 

Please note: Online tickets must be booked at least two days before your visit. Up-to-date tickets are available on site at the ice rink.

In the event of the Zollverein ice rink being closed, tickets remain valid for the 2025/2026 season up to and including 6 January 2026.

Ice skates

Skates are available for hire in sizes 25 to 50. Hire costs €5 per pair (subject to change, deposit required). The hire fee must be paid at the box office. Of course, you are also welcome to use your own skates on the ice rink. You can have your skates sharpened at the ice rink for €6 per pair (subject to change). We cannot guarantee that the desired size will always be available for hire on site, so we recommend that you bring your own skates.

The purchase of an online ticket does not include skate hire.
